Collecting and using personal data from customers, suppliers and other contractors
You should be aware that the personal data you provide to Dinnissen is collected and used for the purpose of possibly concluding and/or executing an agreement with you. This applies to both potential and established clients and to parties from whom Dinnissen purchases goods and/or services.
If you are a potential or established Dinnissen client, your personal data will be used to send you a quote, to determine the specifications or wishes that a particular item or service must meet, to be able to deliver goods or services, perform work for you, send invoices and communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
If you are a potential or established supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. When purchasing, it is necessary to let you know what specifications or wishes a certain item or service must meet, to be able to send a quote request or to place an order with you, as well as being able to pay your invoices and quickly and efficiently communicate with you about any other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide your personal data to Dinnissen. If you do not provide Dinnissen with the personal data required or it is insufficient, it is possible that the aforementioned activities cannot be carried out.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the implementation of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that Dinnissen must provide your personal data to parties who supply parts, materials and products to Dinnissen or perform work on assignment. Dinnissen also makes use of external server space for the back-up of parts or all of the sales and purchasing administration personal data, of which your data form part. Your personal data is therefore provided to the server space provider.
Newsletters
If you regularly order from Dinnissen, the personal data provided by you will be stored and used in the future to send you, personally, emails about existing and new products/services. Dinnissen has a legitimate interest in using your personal data for this purpose, namely to inform you about its products and services. Every time Dinnissen sends you a newsletter, you have the option to let us know that you are no longer interested. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.
Mautic
Dinnissen uses Mautic software and Mautic cookies to find out how visitors use the website, so that we can improve the information we provide on the website or through marketing campaigns. Visitors who choose not to use a website form or email link remain anonymous.
Your Mautic profile is unique to Dinnissen. To ensure your privacy, it is never shared with third parties and is only available to you and Dinnissen. Snitcher
We utilise Snitcher in order to map out the ways in which our website is being used for business purposes. This service provides us with company names and addresses, based on the IP-address, of companies that visit our website. Snitcher places a cookie named 'SNID' in order to differentiate between visitors. The data are only accessible within Dinnissen and will never be shared with any third parties. Personal data retention period
If you have requested a quotation from Dinnissen but you have not become a Dinnissen client, your personal data will be deleted within one year after the last contact at the latest, unless a longer period is necessary for achieving the stated objectives. Even if Dinnissen has received a quote from you that has not been used, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after the last contact, in accordance with the same criterion. If you have become a Dinnissen client or Dinnissen is one of yours, your personal data will be stored for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement or any resulting agreement(s) with you has/have been fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period during which Dinnissen is obliged to keep the records for the Tax Authorities. At the end of this period, Dinnissen will delete your personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to request Dinnissen to allow insight into your personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request Dinnissen to supplement your personal data or to modify any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data or to restrict its use. You can also object to collection and use of your data at Dinnissen or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you make a request to Dinnissen to obtain your personal data or to transfer that data to another party.
