The Multifunctional Sample Carousel is the first solution that makes it possible to collect different sample sizes in one automated sampling process. This way, samples for various purposes (starter sample, chemical sample, bacteriological sample, hourly sample, and batch sample) can be automatically collected in series, containing the exact amount of product per sample. Producers can determine the size of the sample and how many of these samples should be taken. In addition to the frequency, the order can also be set in advance. This way, the Multifunctional Sample Carousel provides different series of samples, of various sizes, without operator intervention needed.

This is a crucial part of the production process, because - due to the strict requirements for food safety - product testing using samples is becoming increasingly important. With the Multifunctional Sample Carousel, Dinnissen provides a simplified, systematized, and automated process. For example, an automatic change of filling position results in a smaller error margin and less labor.

Key features, options, and models

With the Multifunctional Sample Carousel, samples for different quality tests can be taken. Not only in various sample sizes but in series and fully automatically as well. The capacity varies from 10 to 2000 grams per sample and the system automatically collects up to 20 samples in different shapes. Every production line is different and Dinnissen takes that into account. We work together with you to develop a sampling plan to ensure the most efficient process possible. All product contact parts can be easily removed without tools, which makes cleaning very easy. Material certificates are included for all product contact parts, such as 3.1 FDA requirements and EC1935/2010. The Multifunctional Sampling Carousel is also available in an ATEX version.

How it works

An operator enters sample sizes, how many samples are needed per size, and in what order the samples should be taken. Subsequently, the system knows exactly what is needed. Via a tube, part of the product flow is tapped and led to the Multifunctional Sample Carousel. The Multifunctional Sample Carousel then ensures that the samples automatically end up in a bag or cup with the correct quantity. These bags or cups are attached to the carousel and can be detached by lifting the ring that holds them in place.
